Making a Purchase

ALL PRICES ARE IN NEW ZEALAND DOLLARS.
Purchasing is easy. Browse our on-line store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. (Back-ordered items are not charged until they are shipped.)

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping and Handling

Shipping is based on weight and size with a minimum shipping and handling cost of $6.00 within New Zealand.

Delivery Schedule

Orders will normally be sent to you within 2 working days. If there is an expected delay we will contact you. All orders are dispatched via a courier company and with a tracking number. You will be emailed the tracking number when the goods have been dispatched. Please allow 5 days for delivery. If the goods have been damaged in transit, please inform us within 24 hours of delivery so we are able to make a claim against the courier firm and correct the problem. Please quote your order number on all correspondence. We are not responsible for loss or damage to goods that are delivered to an incorrect address. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our courier company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. We will not deliver to any address we deem suspicious.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back-order it for you. You will always be emailed with an option to cancel if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from New Zealand, 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included.

Security

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as totally secure. Whilst we strive to protect such information, we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you transmit to us. Accordingly, any information which you transmit to us is transmitted at your own risk. Nevertheless, once we receive your transmission, we will take reasonable steps to preserve the security of such information.

Privacy Policy

Participation Enterprises Ltd trading as Tayles Picture Framing & Supplies has the highest respect for the buyers privacy and as such the seller will not pass the buyers information on to any third party, unless the buyer has requested the seller to do so, granted permission for the seller to do so or unless the seller is required to by law. This includes the buyers email address, purchase history, contact details, credit card details etc.

Our site provides links to other sites. When you click on one of those links, you are leaving our site and entering another site that we do not control and for which we cannot be responsible. You should carefully review the privacy statements or policies on any other site that you visit because those privacy statements or policies will apply to your visit to that site and may be very different from our policy.

Returns

We will accept returns within 14 days of delivery. You may return any item you purchase in new condition in the original packaging for a full refund. We will also pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of our error. We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 business days of our receiving your return.

Warranty

Should the product you receive be faulty or defective in any manner please contact us via our ‘Contact Us’ link on the home page or by any of the methods above.
We will arrange a replacement to be freighted to you at our cost. We require the faulty item to be returned to us so we can make a claim for it. We will cover the cost of the freight for the item to be returned to us. If a replacement is not available we may, at our discretion, provide a complete refund.

Cancelling your Order

If you have made an order with us but would like to cancel it, contact us using the ‘Contact Us’ link on the home page or via any of the methods above and we will do the best to remedy the situation.
Please note: If your order has already been shipped, all shipping fees will be at your cost.
Occasionally, orders are cancelled by our system due to processing reasons, including:

  • Products not available
  • There is a problem processing your payment information
  • We can’t ship to the address you gave us

If your order is cancelled by us, you’ll receive an e-mail or phone call which will explain the reason for the cancellation and discuss the problem and possible solutions.
Your account will be credited for cancelled products and any related shipping charges.
